Do not use a bandage. ChigaRid creates an impermeable membrane over the skin that protects against further damage and infection.

How many days in a row can I use ChigaRid?
We recommend that Chigarid be used no more than 7 consecutive days. We recommend discontinuing use and consulting a physician for irritation lasting longer than 7 days.

It is possible to feel a stinging sensation when applying ChigaRid to skin that has been scratched or irritated. Rest assured that the sensation will subside shortly.
